Pure tungsten rod / bar is solid cylindrical refractory metal stock manufactured by powder metallurgy sintering followed by multi pass swaging, forging and drawing processes, adopting 99.95% high purity tungsten raw material. Multiple surface finishes are available, including as forged, ground and polished surfaces. The picture shows precision ground pure tungsten rods with bright, smooth metallic surface, straight and uniform diameter. Tungsten possesses the highest melting point among all metals at 3422°C, featuring ultra low vapor pressure, low thermal expansion coefficient, excellent thermal electrical conductivity and outstanding high temperature creep resistance.
